#TonsilTales

People who catch cold very easily; I heartily sympathize with them.
The soaring pains in the tonsils, irritating itching of glands and the heart thrashing and exhausting cough are no stranger to me..

Tonsil attack or tonsillitis is a lesser known yet painful experience..Being awake throughout the night not because you can't sleep but because of coughing is one of the harshest feeling ever..

If you have a cough, soar throat and cold that seem to continue for over one month with equal vigour, you are having an attack. Please consult the best ENT possible and get tested.. ignoring such things can affect one's vocal chord in the long run....

Homeopathy is not trusted by many but does wonders in such cases on condition that you have to be patient enough to complete its course...

However when it becomes acute, no amount of medicine can help....
On an average if you observe such condition repeating 5times a year, it is acute....

Being fairly common, there seems to be no apparent cure for the common cold or any reason for why some people are more susceptible than the others......

Try to identify the symptoms early, seek medical attention and maintain all the restrictions that are required.....Throughout your life:
~no cold drink
~no ice cream
~no cold dessert
~no tamarind water or by product
~no curd (especially sour and cold)
~try and avoid AC
~try and avoid drenching in the rain
(If drenched, immediatly take bath in warm water)
~always carry a scarf or maufler even if it's not needed
~cover and protect both the ears from extreme cold winds and keep them warm

There's no easy way for people who suffer from it, and it's not always practical to follow everything....But try and do them as much as possible, if not always......

#HistoricVerdict

In a country like India, where inter-caste marriages are still frowned upon in many parts, it is a bold step for the Supreme Court to decriminalize homosexuality.....

The end of a law which is more than 100 years old, brought a sense of equality among the people as far as love is concern. Henceforth, everything said and done, no one can be treated any differently for simply loving the similar sex, by the law; as far as society is concern, it is still a long way to go.

I applaud the headstrong fight put up by the LGBT community and congratulate each one of them.

...Having said so, I also wish them strength for their coming fight against all their relatives and nosy-neighbors who, no matter what, will find a way to say "log kya kahenge" (what will people say?)..!!
