La Belle et la Bête

Everyone has his or her fair share of favorite fairy tale.

I too have one...

One from my very first "big book of fairy tales".
Inside its hard bind, pink cover, lies stories, which once was read with utter astonishment..

Either weirdly myself or fairly obvious, that neither the perfect fit of the Cinderella's shoe nor the long haired tangling beauty of Rapunzel, ever caught my heart.

....one story...
.....that have forever captured me was a story of a bookish, un-fitting girl, who wanted more from what life was willing to give..

..someone who believed that there definitely was more to the world, than the place where she dwelled..

..there must be some adventure waiting for her..

.that her life will begin where the comfort zone will end and fearlessly will she pursue whatever that might be!

....A tale which told that beauty lies within...

....A tale that narrated that one can love the most unexpected person, in a most unexpected way...

....A tale which suggested that it's okay to hope against odds..

....A tale which made me believe that unless it's impractical, it's not love..

....A tale that made me believe that it's okay not to fit in..

...And most importantly, it gave me a glimpse of an unreal, massive library; which I always thought I would find, somewhere, someday before I take a leave to the after-world!

Disney never ceases to enthrall me....
When the Teaser released last year, I was more than  excited to realize that, now the lyrics and the tunes of my childhood will be immortalized on the silver screen...(in the form of a proper movie, not like the previously made animated one...which, also I have in my collection, by the way!!).
....and after I watched it, I was more than awed....as I thought I would be!

From the first word of the first dialogue till the last lyric of the last song, I was there and somewhere else at the same time!

Childhood is the time when we wait for the part with the "happily ever after"; and as we grow up, the "journey" leading to the forever, makes more sense..

Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song

Bitter sweet and strange

Finding you can change

Learning you were wrong...
Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the Beast!!

#StayBlessed!
