An ancient hostel building..The eve of Diwali.
A huge common room with few girls in it, the one's who didn't go to their home during the Diwali holidays...
...and suddenly someone stepped inside with a huge news that the warden has approved of renting a vcr and any two movies...And trust me it was a huge news for us in the year 2007...
Within minutes the chaotic common room was turned into a dark movie theatre and for a pretty good amount of time we enjoyed the time of our life with popcorn (from mess wale bhaiya)..
It's 10 years since then but whenever I hear any song from those movies, I get transported to a different place in that different time.....cheersing with our cups of mess wali chai...
